Redemption Is Here

Verse

Eighty-four years of the fire inside!

In the Temple halls where the prayers abide!

Anna was a widow with a heart of gold,

Watching for the miracle the prophets told.

Then the doors flew open to the morning sun—

The wait was over, and the work begun!

Pre-chorus

She looked at the Child, she knew the Face!

The King of Glory, the King of Grace!

She didn’t hesitate, she didn’t pause—

Let’s hear the sound of the world’s applause!

Chorus

OH, ANNA! YOU SAW THE KING!

YOU GAVE THE WHOLE WORLD A REASON TO SING!

ON THE THIRTIETH DAY OF THE FINAL MONTH,

REDEMPTION CAME TO US ALL AT ONCE!

REDEMPTION IS HERE! (YEAH!)

REDEMPTION IS HERE!

Bridge

Tell the city! (Tell the city!)

Shout it out! (Shout it out!)

From the Temple floor, hear the holy shout!

Jerusalem’s light is breaking through,

Everything old is becoming new!

Chorus

OH, ANNA! YOU SAW THE KING!

YOU GAVE THE WHOLE WORLD A REASON TO SING!

ON THE THIRTIETH DAY OF THE FINAL MONTH,

REDEMPTION CAME TO US ALL AT ONCE!

Outro

She saw the Lord! (In the December Light!)

The King is here! (In the December Light!)
