Endured The Storm

Verse

Noah and his family, strong and true

Built a mighty ark where the waters grew

Animals came two by two, great and small

Before the flood would cover all

Verse

The people laughed and scorned his call

Preaching flood while skies stayed all blue

Not one drop in a hundred year

Mocked the man who showed no fear

Chorus

But the rains came down, the waters rose

Endured the storm, the fear, the foes

Feasting animals, thunder roared

Still they trusted in the Lord

Verse

Sailed for months on seas so wide

No land in sight, just endless tide

Noah sent the birds to fly

The dove returned with olive high

Chorus

Landed safe on Mount Ararat's crest

Prayed to God, He knew the rest

A rainbow cast across the skies

A promise bright before their eyes

Outro

No more floods, no more tears

God's promise shines through all our years
