Born To Save Us

Verse

In the stillness of the night,

Mary heard the angel’s voice,

“By the Spirit you’ll conceive,

God has made His choice.”

Pre-chorus

Not by man, but heaven’s power,

Life of love is breaking through,

In your womb the King is resting,

Hope for all is born in you.

Chorus

Jesus, Savior, born to save us,

Light of heaven, God’s own Son,

Born to die and bring forgiveness,

By His cross the victory’s won.

Verse

In a manger, cold and low,

Lies the Lamb who takes our place,

Born to carry all our sorrow,

Full of mercy, truth, and grace.

Pre-chorus

From the cradle to the cross,

Love would never fade away,

Through His death and resurrection,

We have life and endless day.

Chorus

Jesus, Savior, born to save us,

Light of heaven, God’s own Son,

Born to die and bring forgiveness,

By His cross the victory’s won.

Bridge

Glory, glory in the highest,

Peace has come to earth tonight,

Through His birth and through His dying,

We have life, eternal life.

Chorus

Jesus, Savior, born to save us,

Light of heaven, God’s own Son,

Born to die and bring forgiveness,

By His cross the victory’s won.
