The Light Is On The Move

Verse

The star was just the spark of the fire

The manger just the start of the flame

God tuned the world like a golden lyre

To sing the glory of a brand new name!

It wasn’t just a story for a wooden crate

It wasn’t just a moment in time

It was the opening of a massive gate

To a love that’s yours and mine!

Chorus

Oh, can you feel it? The Light is on the move!

God’s got a rhythm and we’re findin’ the groove!

He sent His Son to show the way

Turning every midnight into day!

From Bethlehem’s street to the heart of man

It’s a "Greater-Than-Extravagant" Kind of Plan!

Yeah, He loves His Son, and He loves us too

The Light is on the move!

Verse

The Wise Men knew it when they saw the sky

Simeon knew it when he held Him high

It’s a love so deep and a love so wide

There’s nowhere left for the dark to hide!

Joseph’s walkin’ with a hop in his step

Mary’s got a secret that she couldn’t have kept

That the King of the Heavens is a Brother and a Friend

With a mercy that is never, ever gonna end!

Bridge

(Clap your hands now!)

It’s for the lost, it’s for the found!

It’s for the people all over this ground!

He didn’t stay small, He didn’t stay still

He’s climbing every valley and every hill!

Higher! (Higher!)

Louder! (Louder!)

The Father’s love is a superpower!

Outro

The manger’s empty but the world is full!

(The Light is on the move!)

He’s breakin’ the chains and He’s breakin’ the rule!

(The Light is on the move!)

Joy to the world, and joy to you!

God’s love is big, and God’s love is true!

Keep on movin’!

Yeah, the Light is on the move!
