My mom went with him to Camp Lejeune. That’s when she gave birth to my sister in five years later to me. He got all the Marine Corps. They moved back to the small town And had my little brother five years later after me. It was not always easy. They always told me they love me and if I ever need anything, give him a call. There will not be judgment or anger. Just happy I was safe. They showed me what true trust was to let me grow up how I chose. They didn’t push religion or they never try to stifle my dreams. They were all supportive my mom and my dad. It was an amazing childhood living in a small town in the 80s
