Two different beginnings… But somehow, the same heart when it comes to loyalty, love, and showing up. And that’s what you’ve always done— You’ve shown up. Through card games and cutting up, through BBQs and family time, through trying new restaurants and saying, “let’s just go.” even when we didn’t have a full plan. We didn’t just raise kids— We raised each other. From Deerfield and Franciscan to Jonesboro, Rex, and McDonough, We built a life in motion— laughing, learning, growing, and figuring it out together. And those walks… Lord, those walks. International Beach, McCurry Park, or just around the neighborhood— talking about everything and sometimes nothing at all, but always leaving better than we started. You’ve been my sounding board, my voice of reason, and yes… sometimes the one who tells me what I need to hear (not just what I want to hear). And thank you for that. Because you’ve never judged me— only loved me. You’ve got this quiet strength about you— not loud, not showy, but steady… real… unshakable. And your heart? Your compassion for people… That’s something special. You inspire me, Netha (Nee-Thuh) You really do. To be better. To do better. To love deeper.
