Lyrics
Verse
There once was a boy named Kade,
Whose love for candy would never fade.
With every coin he’d ever find,
He’d buy sweet treats of every kind.
Gummies, chocolates, sour bites—
He’d munch on candy day and night.
Verse
But soon his wallet emptied out,
And Kade began to cry and pout.
His tummy churned, he felt so sore,
He couldn’t eat one sweet thing more!
Verse
Just when Kade thought all was lost,
His choices now too high a cost…
His grandma came with gentle grace,
A caring smile upon her face.
She hugged him close and wiped his tear,
And whispered, “Let me help you, dear.”
Verse
She showed him how to bake that day—
Healthy cookies, the homemade way.
Oats and apples, cinnamon too,
Warm and tasty, good for you!
Verse
Kade took a bite—his eyes grew wide,
A better feeling bloomed inside.
He learned that treats can still be fun
Without eating candy by the ton.
Verse
Now Kade saves up his coins with pride,
For toys and things he once denied.
And every now and then, he’ll see,
A little candy’s fine—in moderation is the key.
Verse
So sing this ballad, loud and clear,
Of Kade, the boy who learned each year
That wisdom grows when choices change,
And healthy habits rearrange.
