The Cloth Was Folded Tight

Verse

The sky was bright with sun that day

The previous days so dark

A stone had been rolled away

The Cloth was Folded tight

All people heed the call

You came for all men to see

Red, yellow, black, white

The Cloth was Folded tight

Verse

Two soldiers sleeping by that cave

Startled by a light so bright

He is gone He is not here

The Cloth was Folded tight

Two women could not find Him there

They ran to find the others

The other men afraid to come

The Cloth was Folded tight

Verse

Jesus is still looking for you.

To join in saving all

For He folded the cloth so tight

Not tossed it toward the wall

So much work left for us to do

To help those who have not heard

That this son of Israel

Has come to heal us all

Chorus

Father in Heaven I'll answer Your call

The cloth will be folded,

Not tossed to the wall

Folded for the feast is not done

Folded for the work to be done

Father in Heaven I'll answer Your call

The cloth will be folded,

Not tossed to the wall

Break

I'll fold the cloth and pick up Your cross.
