Backbencher Anthem

Intro

Yo! This one goes out to the legend, the partner-in-crime.

School ki har masti, har scene ka lifetime witness.

From the first bell to the last bell...

Yeh gaana, sirf backbenchers ke liye!

Chorus

Apun backbencher, class ka king,

Peeche ki seat pe karte chill, yeh apna scene.

Teacher ki nazar, aati jaati hai,

Apni toh dosti, poore school pe chhaati hai.

40 minute ki class, 400 jokes,

Ham dono ki jodi, har jagah top-notch!

Backbencher Anthem, loud on the beat,

Apne yaaron ke bina, life incomplete.

Verse

Yaad hai woh din, jab class mein soye the?

Science ke lecture pe, sapnon mein khoye the.

Register mein attendance, bas ek formality,

Homework ki tension? Woh toh thi bewakoofi.

Pehle bench waale padhte kitabon ke andar,

Aur ham dono karte the paper-game ka dhanda.

Woh chhoti-chhoti baatein, woh pen fights on desk,

Hamari toh chemistry thi, no need for the test.

Jeb mein the aath aane, canteen mein party,

School ki uniform, aur dil se the hum azaadi.

Teacher ne bola, "Aage aao, shaitaan ho tum,"

Hamne bola, "M'am, peeche hi asli insaan hain hum!"

Chorus

Apun backbencher, class ka king,

Peeche ki seat pe karte chill, yeh apna scene.

Teacher ki nazar, aati jaati hai,

Apni toh dosti, poore school pe chhaati hai.

40 minute ki class, 400 jokes,

Ham dono ki jodi, har jagah top-notch!

Backbencher Anthem, loud on the beat,

Apne yaaron ke bina, life incomplete.

Verse

Exam ki subah, tension zero, bhai,

Ek doosre ko dekha, aur bola, "Sab jhol hai, bhai."

Ratta maara raat bhar, par subah sab clean,

Poocha tune question, maine bola, "Kya tha scene?"

Practical file pe, sign the mere chhapke,

Aur project banaya tha, bas aakhri raat jaag ke.

Future ki baatein, karte the recess mein,

Ki bade hoke kya karna hai, apne hi pace mein.

Tune sikhaya mujhe, har mushkil se ladna,

Kisi bhi plan ko, smoothly execute karna.

Ek hi bench pe baith ke, zindagi samjhi hai,

Dosti ki definition, tere saath likhi hai.

Log kehte backbencher hain, career barbaad,

Par hamari mehnat aur dosti, duniya karegi yaad!

Bridge

Waqt badla, school choota, sab aage badhe,

Par hamari yaari, aaj bhi ek number pe khadi.

Jab bhi phone karta hoon, tu udhar se hans deta hai,

Pata chalta hai, apna bachpan abhi bhi zinda hai.

Hamara bond, yeh koi ordinary chapter nahi,

Meri kitaab-e-zindagi ka, tu main character, bhai.

Tujhe dedicate karta hoon, har ek beat, har ek line,

Kyunki tere jaisa dost, milna mushkil, that’s divine.

Chorus

Apun backbencher, class ka king,

Peeche ki seat pe karte chill, yeh apna scene.

Teacher ki nazar, aati jaati hai,

Apni toh dosti, poore school pe chhaati hai.

40 minute ki class, 400 jokes,

Ham dono ki jodi, har jagah top-notch!

Backbencher Anthem, loud on the beat,

Apne yaaron ke bina, life incomplete.
