Hold On and Pray Expectantly

Verse

When winds of worry start to rise,

And peace feels distant from your eyes,

Cling to the Rock that does not sway—

Hold on to Him. He is the Way.

Verse

Keep moving on, though steps are few,

Though strength feels faint, His grace is new.

Your journey matters—every mile,

He walks beside you all the while.

Chorus

Hold on and pray expectantly,

He’s working in the wait, faithfully.

Hope is rising, can’t you see?

God’s love is strong, eternally.

Hold on and pray expectantly.

Verse

Lift every burden, speak His name,

In joy or sorrow, just the same.

Your quiet prayer, your humble plea,

Moves heaven's heart and sets hope free.

Verse

Don’t just endure—begin to see:

That in the waiting, you are free.

Expect the dawn, for it will rise—

God never fails, and never lies.

Chorus

Hold on and pray expectantly,

He’s working in the wait, faithfully.

Hope is rising, can’t you see?

God’s love is strong, eternally.

Hold on and pray expectantly.

Verse

Even in silence, He hears your cry,

Even in darkness, His light draws nigh.

So lift your eyes, the morning breaks—

His promises He never forsakes.

Chorus

Hold on and pray expectantly,

He’s working in the wait, faithfully.

Hope is rising, can’t you see?

God’s love is strong, eternally.

Hold on and pray expectantly.
