You Saw My Heart

Verse

We met in the 7th grade in 1965.

But went our separate ways.

Both married someone else.

Chorus

Decades later Karen the matchmaker got us together.

Shared our first kiss in the Atlanta airport.

Verse

Moved back to Florida after hurricane Michael.

Even a Cat-5 storm couldn’t keep us apart.

Chorus

You never saw me as being in a wheelchair,

you only saw my heart.
