Wednesday

Intro

Seven a.m., waking up in the morning

Gotta be fresh, gotta go downstairs

Gotta have my bowl, gotta have cereal

Seein’ everything, the time is goin’

Verse

Tickin’ on and on, everybody’s rushin’

Gotta get down to the bus stop

Gotta catch my ride, gotta get to school

It’s hump day now, feelin’ kinda cool

Pre-chorus

Yesterday was Tuesday, today is Wednesday

Tomorrow is Thursday, and Friday comes after

But right now we’re here, pushin’ through the middle

Yeah, yeah, yeah

Chorus

Wednesday, Wednesday

Gotta get down on Wednesday

Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend

Weekend, weekend

Wednesday, Wednesday

Gotta get down on Wednesday

Halfway there, feel the rhythm in the air

Oh-oh-oh-oh

Verse

Gotta get my books, gotta pack my bag

Friends all laughin’, no time to drag

Teacher’s talkin’, but my mind’s on later

Wednesday’s got that steady beat, feel the flavor

Chorus

Wednesday, Wednesday

Gotta get down on Wednesday

Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend

Weekend, weekend

Wednesday, Wednesday

Gotta get down on Wednesday

Halfway there, feel the rhythm in the air

Oh-oh-oh-oh

Outro

Wednesday, Wednesday

(da da da)

Wednesday, Wednesday

(yeah yeah)
