Merry Christmas To The Players

Intro

Santa’s coming soon to Clon, the festive cheer is here,

From Gordon Park to Baldonnel, the memories are clear.

Verse

From Clondalkin to Lucan streets, Citywest and Tallaght too,

Haggard's spirit flying high, and friends from far and new.

Chorus

Merry Christmas to the players, young and old we say,

Clon Rugby family, lighting up this holiday.

Raise your voices, feel the joy, in every pass and play,

Santa’s sleigh arrives with love, to brighten up our day.

Verse

The early days at Gordon Park, where legends found their start,

Now at Baldonnel Farm, we gather heart to heart.

From training fields to match day thrills, together we unite,

Under Christmas stars so bright, we cheer into the night.

Chorus

Merry Christmas to the players, young and old we say,

Clon Rugby family, lighting up this holiday.

Raise your voices, feel the joy, in every pass and play,

Santa’s sleigh arrives with love, to brighten up our day.

Bridge

Through every try and tackle made, through cold and wintry breeze,

We hold the spirit of Clon strong, in friendship’s endless seas.

Chorus

Merry Christmas to the players, young and old we say,

Clon Rugby family, lighting up this holiday.

Raise your voices, feel the joy, in every pass and play,

Santa’s sleigh arrives with love, to brighten up our day.

Outro

So here’s to Clondalkin’s finest, to rugby’s shining light,

Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, and to all a good night!
