We Sing for Jesus

Intro

La-la-la, oh-oh, hey

La-la-la, oh-oh, hey (come, come)

Verse

Snow on the rooftops, laughter on the street

Little hands hold paper stars, neighbors that we meet

We bring casseroles and blankets, we bring the extra coat

Stories told around the table, we keep each other's hope

Pre-chorus

Candles on the windows, faces all aglow (all aglow)

We remember why we gather, love moves us to and fro

Chorus

We sing for Jesus, we sing for light, we sing for the newborn King

We give our kindness, give our hands, give what our hearts can bring

We are chosen family, church family, wrapped in grace and song

We sing for Jesus, we sing for love, we sing and we belong

We sing for Jesus, we sing for love, we sing and we belong (oh-oh)

Verse

Manger and a miracle, a quiet holy start

Shepherds came with open hearts, we bring our open hearts

Helping hands on snowy steps, warming more than toes

Feeding souls with mercy, letting Christmas mercy grow

Pre-chorus

Children at the doorway, carols in the hall (la-la)

Every lonely corner answered by another call

Chorus

We sing for Jesus, we sing for light, we sing for the newborn King

We give our kindness, give our hands, give what our hearts can bring

We are chosen family, church family, wrapped in grace and song

We sing for Jesus, we sing for love, we sing and we belong

We sing for Jesus, we sing for love, we sing and we belong (yeah)

Bridge

When storms blow cold and the roads are long, we meet and move as one (move as one)

Passing plates, passing prayers, passing peace until the morning sun

Emmanuel with us, Emmanuel with us — oh (Emmanuel)

Every small mercy is a miracle, every small mercy is a home

Chorus

We sing for Jesus, we sing for light, we sing for the newborn King

We give our kindness, give our hands, give what our hearts can bring

We are chosen family, church family, wrapped in grace and song

We sing for Jesus, we sing for love, we sing and we belong

We sing for Jesus, we sing for love, we sing and we belong (la-la-la)

Outro

La-la-la, oh-oh, come, come, come

We sing for Jesus — we sing, we sing (we sing)
