I hear the drums of battle rising in my soul,

A holy storm where heaven’s warriors patrol.

The darkness trembles at the whisper of His Name,

For every chain must break beneath the Lamb who was slain.

Clothed in the armor of the Ancient of Days,

I march in power, strengthened by His grace.

This is my warfare cry—

In the Name of Jesus, darkness dies.

Every stronghold falls, every captive rises;

For the Lord of Hosts is standing by my side.

This is my battle song—

In the blood of Jesus I belong.

No weapon formed, no evil throne survives

Before the King of Glory’s warfare cry.

I lift the sword of truth against every lie,

I break the altars where the wicked spirits thrive.

Every arrow sent in secret loses aim,

Consumed by fire in the presence of His flame.

I call the light of heaven down on every place—

Let angels gather as we war in faith.
