Come Running to Me

Verse

Have mercy on me, O God, because of Your unfailing love.

Blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me from guilt, purify my heart.

I recognize my rebellion; it haunts me day and night.

Against You alone I have sinned; yet Your mercy covers all.

Purify me and I will be clean; give me back my joy, remove my guilt.

Chorus

I'm running to you, I'm running to you,

My heart has lost hope

Your the love that I'm missing,

please fill the emptiness

I need you god

I'm hubmled and broken and don't deserve forgiveness.

I'm running to you,

Verse

Create in me a clean heart, O God, renew a loyal spirit.

Do not banish me; restore the joy of Your salvation.

The sacrifice You desire is a broken spirit; You will not reject a repentant heart.

Chorus

I'm running to you, I'm running to you,

My heart has lost hope

Your the love that I'm missing,

please fill the emptiness

I need you god

I'm hubmled and broken and don't deserve forgiveness.

I'm running to you,

Verse

Oh, what joy for those whose sins are forgiven!

When I refused to confess, my strength faded; then I confessed, and You forgave me.

You are my hiding place, surrounding me with songs of victory.

Your unfailing love guides me; I rejoice in Your ways. you've revived my empty soul when I heard your voice whisper

Chorus

Come running to Me, come running to Me,

I am the hope you’re looking for.

I am the love that you’re missing,

I can fill the emptiness and more.

I am God, I am God,

Receive My forgiveness.

Come running to Me,

Come running to Me.

Verse

Come to Me, all who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us.

Chorus

Come running to Me, come running to Me,

I am the hope you’re looking for.

I am the love that you’re missing,

I can fill the emptiness and more.

I am God, I am God, you came running to Me,

Now you are forgiven. Receive My forgiveness.

Abide in Me. Stay in Me. Abide in Me.
