VBS-style upbeat worship song for elementary kids, singable in a group, modern Phil Wickham and Forrest Frank vibe, themes from Luke 15 and Matthew 13:44-46: hidden treasure, God is priceless and worth seeking and finding, we are God's treasure and He seeks us when we're lost
Lyrics
Intro
Hidden, hidden, treasure found!
Hidden, hidden, come on, look around!
Verse
There was a man who found a secret in the soil,
A shining treasure that changed his whole life.
He left behind everything to joyfully rejoice,
He found the priceless gift and danced out in the light.
Pre-chorus
Worth more than gold, worth all we'd trade away,
He is the treasure we find every day.
Chorus
You are the hidden treasure, priceless and true,
God, You are worth everything — we run to You.
You search for the lost one, You call out our name,
We are Your treasure found, forever changed.
Verse
A shepherd left the ninety-nine to find the one,
A coin was lost but then the mother cheered.
He carries home the child who wandered far away,
He celebrates and lights the sky when we reappear.
Pre-chorus
He leaves the safe, He looks into the night,
He finds the lost and brings them into light.
Chorus
You are the hidden treasure, priceless and true,
God, You are worth everything — we run to You.
You search for the lost one, You call out our name,
We are Your treasure found, forever changed.
Bridge
Come on, clap your hands, shout hooray, hooray!
God found me, God found you — He lights our way.
Come on, lift your voice, tell the world today:
We are His treasure, He will never stray.
Chorus
You are the hidden treasure, priceless and true,
God, You are worth everything — we run to You.
You search for the lost one, You call out our name,
We are Your treasure found, forever changed.
Outro
Hidden, hidden, treasure found!
Hidden, hidden, come on, look around!
We are Your treasure, You are our King,
We sing of the joy that finding You brings.
